Oregon Crystal weather station
by Marc in HomeOregon Scientific are synonymous with digital weather stations – indoors, outdoors, remote sensors, solar powered – any combination you can think of.
They tend to look a bit functional though – it’s hard to make the weather sexy. Until now, anyway. This Crystal weather station actually looks – dare I say it – quite cool?
The weather icons are laser-engraved onto the top transparent block and lit up with different colours to display the forecast. (translated: Do you need to take a brolly to work tomorrow?)
There’s also some motion sensor action going on so you can wave at it to change the bottom display between clock and temperature.
It’s available online at the Oregon Scientific store for £99
