Livescribe pulse digital pen
by Marc in PC Hardware
The Livescribe pulse is a pen with a difference. Incorporating a digital recorder you’ll finally be able to point out to the boss that he did actually say yes (or no, depending on what it is you’re on the hook for…).
If that was all it did it would be a bit boring though. The trick with the Pulse is in the special “digital paper” you can use it with. The pen recognises the tiny microdots printed on the surface of the paper and tracks every motion you make in it’s internal memory. The included software (PC/Mac) will then show your notes just as you scribbled them.
As well as displaying your notes graphically the desktop software lets you search them for text (good luck recognising my handwriting…) or export them to flash movies for sharing.
Charging is through USB and you can pick them up from www.livescribepulse.com for £129 including 100 sheets of the special paper.
